  3. Manny, it depends on which way you're routing the power wire from the engine bay to the trunk. Also, it depends on whether the amp will be mounted on the driver side or the passenger side. We recommend you run your power cable on the same side as the battery and mount the amp on the side side as the battery to insure that you have enough power cable length. Choose a amp kit with 20 feet of power cable to make sure you have enough length. Here's where we get our amplifier kits for installs:

  4. i have a 2004 ford explorer xlt. i want to put subs and i just want to know how long a amp wiring kit i need to reach the back? do you think 17 feet is good?
